The community of Brentwood Hills has the distinction of being one neighborhood, with two cities.  With some residents using a Brandon address, and others using a Valrico address, people can often be at a loss for telling you exactly where Brentwood Hills is.  Bordered on the North by some of the commercial businesses on State Rt. 60, (Brandon Blvd.) and on the East by North Valrico Road, the Southern border of Brentwood Hills is Lumsden Road.  With easy access to the Interstate 4 to the North, and Interstate 75 to the West, Brentwood Hills is a great location for those who commute to downtown Tampa, or Lakeland, and is convenient for those with occasional business in Orlando or Sarasota. 

Shopping, dining, and multiple parks are within a close distance, and Plant City with it's historic district and growing antique stores is only minutes away.

With about 1000 homes, all built between 1989 and 1996 or so, Brentwood Hills is a great choice for someone with a family.  Homes currently have market values from about $76,000 up to about $240,000.  Lots are moderately sized, and a large percentage of homes have private pools.  Stucco is the predominant exterior treatment, and while most homes are constructed of concrete block, some are wood framed.  The dominant style is Florida Traditional, and most roofs are asphalt shingle, although some homes have clay tile roofs with their distinctive look.  Brentwood Hills students go to Brooker Elementary, Burns Middle, and Bloomingdale High Schools.  See information on Hillsborough County Schools by clicking here.

 The community has no CDD fees, and the Homeowners Association manages Brentwood Hills Swim and Tennis Club, which is a clean, well managed, and well supervised facility in the middle of the community.  There is also a privately run day care facility within the community.
